Colombians residing abroad who hold a Student’s Visa and are required to obtain a Certificate of No Objection to their Remaining Abroad must file an application in compliance with the following.
Requirements:
- Substantiated request addressed to the Colombian Embassy (Washington D.C.) or the respective Consulate
- Statement of the reasons for requesting a Certificate of No Objection and describe the program followed under the student’s visa.
- Date of entry into the country of residence, telephone number, address and electronic mail address where the interested party may be notified.
- Copy of valid passport.
- Copy of Student’s Visa.
- Personal declaration by the interested party that he/she has not received any economic support or scholarship from Colombian or United States governmental entities.
- “Case Number” assigned.
