Colombia is the third largest economy in Latin America and one of the countries with the greatest economic stability in the region. In the past six years the economy grew above 4% on average. During 2014, the economy grew above the average for Latin America and the Caribbean as a whole: Colombia grew by 4.3%; the region, by2.6% .The middle class grew larger, and now represents about 25% of the totaL population; and thatgrfowth is expected to continue, to be 44% in 2020 and 60% in 2025.
